Authorship and Competing Interests

Authors should ensure that all the listed person(s) have made a substantial contribution to the manuscript with no doubt on the order.

The corresponding author(s) should ensure that all the participated person(s) were contained in the author list, and all the co-authors agree to publish it in this journal. Authors should ensure and be in agreement with who completed a certain part of this manuscript, which means the particular definitions of authorships are asked to offer.

Authors should recognize that some others who made efforts in a specific aspect of this manuscript are required to put in the acknowledgment.

Any financial support for conducting this work should be stated in the manuscript.

Copyright

Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to complete an ' Copyright License Agreement'. Authors must agree that the copyright, compilation right, translation right, reproduction right, distribution right, and information network dissemination right of the manuscript belong to the journal. Please make a statement during submission if you don’t agree to the copyright.

Digital Archive

Journal of Food Science and Biotechnology is committed to the permanent availability and preservation of scholarly research and to ensure accessibility by converting and upgrading digital file formats to comply with new technology standards. We work in partnership with organizations (CNKI,Chinese Science Citation Database,Wanfang Data, Weipu Chinese Periodical Service Platform)as well as maintaining our own digital archive. Authors and readers can permanently access the full text free of charge on our website.

Article Processing Charge

To provide the service of Open Access (OA), Journal of Food Science and Biotechnology has set rules for the open access fee which is also known as an Article Processing Charge (APC). Once manuscript is accepted, the journal will charge CNY 2,800 for a publication fee. Publishing fees or waiver status should not influence editorial decision making. The journal will pay remunerations one-off to corresponding author CNY 150 and send free sample issues after publication.

Detection of Academic Misconduct

The Journal of Food Science and Biotechnology adopts a strict policy against academic misconduct. Manuscripts will be rejected directly if any form of plagiarism is found. Specifically, submissions are preliminarily found to the academic misconduct through CNKI AMLC systems. Once the rate numbers of the duplicate checking are more than 10%, the handling of the submission should be terminated.
